VendaArt is an international house of African art, sculpture, and luxury interior design, built through more than a decade of collaboration with the most respected master carvers on the East Coast of Africa.
Our vision is to transform ancestral tribal carving into one-of-a-kind handmade functional art — merging African heritage with contemporary luxury design.
VendaArt stands on three pillars:
a profound passion for sculpture and handcrafted wood art,
deep respect for African artists, tribal carving traditions and cultural storytelling,
and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence in museum-grade craftsmanship.
Today, VendaArt creates exceptional handmade luxury furniture carved from single blocks of hardwood, alongside composite sculptures from Zanzibar and collectible art objects shaped entirely by hand.
Our work integrates classical carving styles — Makonde, Maasai, Devil, Animal, and Zanzibar — using traditional tools and rare hardwoods such as ebony, a hallmark of high-end African craftsmanship.
Official Recognition — Mwenge Certificate of Artistic Excellence
VendaArt holds an official Artistic Recognition Certificate from the Mwenge Traditional Artists Community — the most respected master sculptor institution in East Africa.
This recognition honors the creation of authentic African art with heritage master carvers, the integration of African sculpture into luxury interior design, and the preservation of ancestral techniques at a time when true masters are disappearing.
In the GCC luxury market, this certificate stands as a symbol of authority, authenticity, and cultural excellence.
